Description
2 Peter 2:12-17 Welcome to another hard message from 2nd Peter. Today we will be talking about pseudo-salvation. And those who lead others into false beliefs and teachings about spiritual matters of which they know very little. I hope you listen closely to Martin Luther's quote from a sermon in 1531 concerning standing against false doctrine and those who would lead you away from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and total trust in the Word of God. As we go through today's verses there are huge lessons to learn and to realize that hell is the blackness of darkness forever. I quickly go over 7 different kinds of false sinful people and teachers that you will know what to watch out for. 56min

Description
John 18:15-40 We have lots to cover today. In understanding the six trials of Jesus; three Roman and three Jewish, there is much to be learned and studied. I will be hitting some of the high points but hopefully you will take the two handouts that I have now given you and study the different Scriptures concerning the culmination of Jesus' life. There are so many minute details that relate to the Old Testament as well as the things that have already happened in the New Testament that there is not time to go into them all. I pray that as you study the four Gospels and other related Scriptures that the Holy Spirit will lay on your heart that this period of Jesus life will become an inspiration and encouragement to you. Understanding Jesus love for Peter, even though he has messed up repeatedly is such a wonderful promise to how our God loves us also. But why did this innocent man (Jesus) have to die? We need to understand it was God's plan from before the beginning of time, because man needs a Savior. 48min.

Description
Today's lesson is a summary of some of the things we have already learned in Romans. I know for a fact, if you are like me,, it is hard to remember the sermons that have been long past. Maybe, there is a pointer or two that you do remember, but there is one big overpowering concept that needs to be recalled at this point in time. It has to do with God's GRACE and what we understand about it, and what we do with it. Prayerfully today the lesson will help you to reflect personally on how God's grace has impacted your life. We all need to have gratitude, and amazement about how God loves us. Just maybe, this teaching today, will help you reflect on God's love for YOU! 53min

Matthew 5:1-12 For me the next several Sundays are going to be exciting to review with you. Because Jesus is laying out very clearly what the kingdom of God is all about, and how we should conduct ourselves. The people at heard these blessed words were a lot like us. They had trials and frustrations that have always been common to man. So if we listen to Jesus's words and realize this is what God would like us to learn and follow it will be a very profitable time for all of us. In this first short section there are promises that we need to understand and hang onto. I pray you will write down some notes as the Holy Spirit brings some precious thoughts into your mind. 45min

John 1:39-51

Description
John 1:39-51 As we read how Jesus gets his first 5 disciples, there are some interesting lessons to be learned. However, we are going to start today's lesson with week 25 and 26 Bible verses. Jude 24 & 25, and 1John 4:9-10. In looking at our 52 Bible verses for the year, sometimes these fall in line with our Scripture studies in the Gospel of John and sometimes they don't. But I do believe they have value in our growth. Anyway, there are some subtle lessons from John's Gospel that we need to pick up today. The big question for the day is: who do you think Jesus is? How closely are you following him? Is your relationship with Him a first priority in life? In this day and age it is hard to imagine these 5 men dropped everything to follow Jesus immediately. Jesus is still saying "come, follow me - you will see greater things than these". Are you willing? 39min PS I have a fantastic, thought-provoking, 7 page article on how amazing & transforming God's GRACE is. It was written by David Bryant a pastor and Christ proclaimer for over the 40 years now. I have read it at least 8 times & each time it has a greater impact on me. If you're not joining us on Sunday mornings you are really missing out on a lot of prophecy updates and vital information. A lot of the recording today is our communion presentation. In explaining the one verse I give a personal story about when I at first disobeyed the Lord's request to witness, and then came around and did what I should have to start with. Also told a story about painting an old white country church. 27min

2 John v1-13 WOW I can't believe it! I got through a whole book of the Bible in one sermon! Seriously, in these few short versus there are lots of lessons to be learned. You will note as you listen that we refer back to the Gospel of John a lot. That is because the Apostle John is reminding his people what he had taught them in the past. We need to understand that the good news of the gospel has not changed, the truth of God will last forever. You need to understand that even back then false teachers were perverting the truths of God's Word. Things in this world have not changed much, but we need to learn from this small letter to the believers who lived back then. 45min

Description
Matthew 13:44-50 In our lesson today, we are going to look at three interconnected parables, All related to the kingdom of heaven. Some key questions are going to be answered about the Christian life and what makes YOU and the kingdom of heaven so valuable. As Jesus is using every day things that help explain the spiritual, hopefully anyone who has ears to hear can pick up on the deeper meanings. I pray you remember the example of the Pearl, because as we look at that part of the Scripture we can see how Jesus Christ is changing our lives and we are becoming something of great value. I believe Ephesians 2:1-10 helps bring out even greater meaning to today's teaching. 45min

Description
John 15:18 - Jn 16:4 Today we have another hard lesson from Jesus. Who you are as a Christian is at least in part going to determine what the world thinks of you. Jesus has said the world hated him therefore it will hate His followers. Are you prepared for this? And more importantly, is your life emanating enough of Jesus where the world recognizes you as different? In this lesson, it will become clear that friendship with the world is hatred toward God. I don't know if you have ever thought about this, but we are called to be something other than worldly. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, our faith and trust in God's word, and our determination to love one another we can become purveyors of light. So how is your Christian walk? For some this lesson will be an encouragement; for others it may bring a challenge. 45min

John 1:6-13 In our lesson for today, we will see John the Baptist declaring Jesus of Nazareth as God's true light. John was a man sent from God. Jesus was the light & John was the lamp that bore witness to the light. All men have had God's light revealed to them, but there is an individual choice to make. We will look at other scriptures from John, Romans, Ephesians, 2nd Corinthians, and Titus that will shed some more "light" on the subject. A lot is packed into these few verses. 49min

Romans 8:18-25 My study for this week took me to so many different places in the Scriptures. The handout is four pages long, but as you will note in the sermon I never got past the first page. Being in the middle of this COBIT 19 pandemic, it has been a very interesting experience. I have been seeing the magnification of evil plans and evil people beyond my wildest dreams. BUT at the same time I am seeing so many prophecies fulfilled, and God's love poured out in so many ways that it is just extremely exciting to see how much God loves each of us! As Christ's return draws nearer I pray you are drawing nearer to Christ. His promises of what is to come is worth whatever we must go through. Be encouraged and keep looking up. 47min

Therefore, I am including multiple verses that you need to write down, and placed deep within your heart and consciousness as we face 2022. During this message we also had communion and even though I didn't get to present all the material I had on the why's of communion; it is a time to remember and praise God for what Christ did for us. 54min

Not some 15 years or so -or what ever I said on tape. So God is unchanging in His: (1) essence (2) attributes (3) plans (4) promises (5) threatenings (6) objects of His love. Description
Matthew 18:1-9 In today's lessonwe are going to be challenged and encouraged at the same time. God wants each of us to approach Him in the simplicity of a child. Having confidence, and the understanding that our heavenly father only wants the best for us. Yes the Scripture addresses who is going to be the greatest in heaven; but that question is framed in the wrong way. Your heavenly father recognizes your needs and wants and knows what's best for you. However pride and the nature of things here in this fallen world do not apply in the heavenly realm and we need to understand what Jesus wants for us before we transition to his perfect everlasting kingdom. I pray this thought-provoking and challenging message will give you insight into what Jesus wants for you as his child. 51min

Matthew 18:15-20 In today's world, conflict seems to be everywhere. How are we to get along in this world if we don't know how to resolve conflict? The peace of God will be with those who follow biblical principles in this area but sometimes it is very difficult. We have to understand that dealing with church members ( which our covered Scriptures are about today ) is different than dealing with our unsaved friends and neighbors. But there are good biblical principles to follow in all cases. Sorry this is not a Christmas message, but maybe this will help during some of the conflicts that arise at this time of year. 46min

Matthew 21:1-11 Today, I want to start with some Old Testament Scriptures and then some from the gospel of Luke. Has your faith been tested? Have you gone the extra step to know why you believe what you do? When we look at Daniel chapter 9 verse 25 there is a very interesting prophecy. It states that Jesus would ride injured Jerusalem on April 6 32 A.D. on a donkey exactly hundred and 173,880 days after the Persian King Artaxerxes command to rebuild Jerusalem. How can prophecies in the Bible be so exact? Because God knows everything! Do you realize we are at the end of the days of mankind and soon judgment is coming? We need to believe the Bible and be humble as we see God's end times unfolding. 56min

AND there are some excellent comments during this teaching. Many people have asked Jesus or God by what authority do You do these things? I pray with the cross related Scriptures this question will be answered for you. Matthew 14:13-21 This miracle of what Jesus did in feeding the 5000 has so many lessons to teach us. One word you will hear over and over again is the word compassion. Do you have any idea how much Jesus loves you? Even though the disciples had been with Jesus for a long time they needed to be taught about FAITH and TRUST in the one who cares so much for us. We especially need to hear the message of hope in these hard times. God is working out a plan that we don't quite understand right now. However, Jesus is still in the miracle working business. The impossible is God's specialty. Your limited resources plus Jesus equals more than enough. We need to learn that solving physical problems sometimes require a spiritual solution. And, most of all, God has compassion for you. 46min
