Description
1 John 4:12-21 Today we will finish up chapter 4 and be continuing our dialogue about love. In today's message you will see how important it is to have the "spirit of God" within you so that you can express God's love toward others. In my hand out for today, I list six Bible verse questions that you can ask yourself to see if you really have experienced the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. We will also discover that there is no fear in love even though we will one day face judgment. And we KNOW that God's love abides within us, because of how and why we love others. Yes, Jesus did truly and completely expressed God's love for us in human form. 37min.

Isaiah 59 & 1 John 2:24-28 What happens when we as individuals, or as a nation refuse to abide in God & His precepts? Remaining in agreement with God's truth is essential for an individual, or a nation, because one day King Jesus will return, and we all will be judged. Christians need to understand there are 4 blessings for abiding in Jesus. This will have to be continued next week because of lack of time today. Our core values, our most basic beliefs, you might say "our roots" determine our actions, & those actions form the "fruits of our lives". And thus ... our eternal future; will it be in heaven or hell? As we continue to study "abiding in Jesus" we need to address what Jesus had to say about what happens to us when we die. Will it be heaven or hell? What is promised to God's children? Is becoming a follower of Jesus an important action for our future? 38min

Have you ever really considered what it means that you have been "declared a child of God". It is not only amazing who your real father is, but the heritage that you will one day exist in! As the verse says "what we shall be"! But while keeping that image in mind, what do we do with this sinful world we live in, and with our own sinful lives? Prayerfully today you will grasp some concepts that will make it just a bit easier for you to live a pure life and be a walking testimony of God's love (the Good News) for others who are desperate for joy and peace. 45min

Description
1 John 3:10 Today's lesson is going to focus on primarily just this one verse. Contained within this verse is a very key word righteousness. This is a subject rarely taught on, and barely understood by the Christian community. So today is the Lord has laid on my heart we need to discuss this area of your Christian living. The word righteousness and its counterpart righteous appears some 540 times in 520 verses of the Bible. Whereas the word faith faithfulness and faithful only occurs some 348 times in 328 versus. That means that there is 1.5 times as many scriptures about righteousness as there is about faith. I pray that today's message will tug at your heartstrings and cause you to reflect deeply and how you are living for Christ. I also know that a subject matter like this can cause guilt, you need to understand that in Christ Jesus there is never condemnation only a prompting of your conscience. May the Lord bless you as you listen to this study. 35min

1 John 3:16-24 Verse 18 is the key to what were going to be discussing today. You have all heard that love covers a multitude of sins, but hopefully the handout that I gave you on love will drive the importance of this concept even more deeply into your heart and mind. This is such a huge subject - and somehow I felt I had so much more to say .... but I believe that when the Holy Spirit totally changed my sermon and shortened it by about two hours ( LOL ) maybe this was better for you than what I thought I was going to present. As recipients of the Holy Spirit, we not only have a changed consciousness but hopefully God has also changed your heart. We cannot know how to love except by experiencing God's love. Remember, God is more compassionate and understanding toward us then we sometimes are toward ourselves. But we must remember that the outpouring of love benefits both the giver and the receiver. 33min

Faith is a gift from God but it is matured by believing what God's Word has said. We all need to learn to walk in the Words of Jesus & the Bible. God can not lie! Satan does constantly! Description
1 Peter 2:11-25 This message from the Word of God may not be the easiest one you've ever listened to, but, it is essential. God's grace is getting what we don't deserve .... And God's mercy is not getting what we do deserve! Let that sink in for a moment. The real question is how should we live in response to tribulation and persecution. To get through it all everyone needs a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. AND Christ followers have been called to represent Jesus to others. We are to obey the authorities over us; BUT as Peter put it "whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge". 55min

Description
1 Peter 3:13-17 I'm sorry that we had no broadcast last week. You cannot imagine the battles that went on, but God was victorious. So in these 4 verses I pray that you will listen closely, and hear what the Holy Spirit has to say to YOU. I'm so sorry that you did not get to hear what I said about Isaiah 8:13-15 at the beginning before I was reminded that the recorder was not turned on. The point was, you should hear only God and fear HIM only for God only will keep you safe! The point was "the fear of the Lord conquers every other fear!" As we started recording were learning how to sanctify Christ as Lord, in our hearts. And only we can harm ourselves, if we fail to trust God totally! The message was that each crisis in our lives becomes an opportunity for growth, witnessing, and blessing. Because Jesus knows our every situation and need, in order to be victorious in life we need to make Jesus Christ LORD our livesand give him total control over everything that is going on in our lives. 52min

The world does not persecute "religious people", but it does persecute righteous people. Persecution is the purifying of your faithand the proof that your faith is genuine. Suffering and glory our twin truths. I hope you know that one day God's glory will be revealed in and through us. Peter named for privileges in verses 13 and 14 that encourage us to rejoice in the midst of fiery trials. So how do we do this? 53min
